The Yellow Dress Trend that You Need to Try
Today's post is going to be short and sweet! I want to talk to you about the "yellow dress trend" that YOU need to try this spring! This look I'm wearing is more of a winter look, but will easily transition into spring with heels or dressier sandals!
Without further ado, let's introduce the look! I have to admit, this was one of my favorite shoots to date, and one of my favorite looks from that shoot! I often forget about wearing hats, but I am so happy I chose to with this look, because I think it really completes the look! Whenever I do wear hats...I am extremely happy with the look! It's such a fun accessory to add to any outfit that many people forget about. This black floppy hat will easily transition into spring by pairing it with a summer dress or even cutoff denim shorts. It can easily be dressed up or down. Versatility is key!
For the record, pairing black and yellow together is one of my favorite color combinations. Maybe it's because I went to the Universtity of Iowa, and those were the school colors...lol.
Black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow...
This yellow bell-sleeve dress was part of the Dillard's New Years Day Sale and it's from Gianni Bini. It's unavailable online, but I have found a lot of other yellow dresses for you to shop at the end of the post. The black wool hat I described earlier, and enough said about that, right? We already decided you need it to accessorize! My black over the knee boots are Steve Madden on MAJOR SALE for under $30 with all sizes stocked! Yall. This is SUCH a great price for OTK boots. It's a great time to purchase winter items now, since it's coming to an end and most retailers are trying to get rid of the winter items (hence, all the sales!) I'm a huge believer in "Buy Now, Wear Later." This is how I save a lot of money (buying items during the off-season!)
